Expedition
NEVADO MATEO (5150M) – ACCLIMATIZATION
Departure to Punta Olimpica. Basic technical ascent to start mountaineering and ensure optimal acclimatization.
ICHIC ULTA (5350M) – TECHNICAL PREPARATION
Panoramic ascent with views of South Huascaran. Practice of glacier and moraine progression.
HUARAZ – LLACA CREEK – VALLUNARAJU MORAINE CAMP (4980M)
Transfer to Llaca and steep ascent to the moraine camp. Spectacular views of the Huaraz valley.
VALLUNARAJU SUMMIT (5680M) – HUARAZ
Summit attack on rock and glacier. Return to base camp and transfer back to the city.
HUARAZ – YANAPACCHA MORAINE CAMP (4800M)
Transfer via Llanganuco. Ascent to the moraine camp and start of the technical course on the glacier (PD+).
YANAPACCHA SUMMIT (5460M) – HUARAZ
Technical climbing to the summit. View of the Blanca colossi. Final descent and return to Huaraz.
