DAY 01

ARRIVAL IN QUITO (2850 M)

Reception at Mariscal Sucre Airport and transfer to the hotel. Briefing and gear review for the upcoming days.

QUILOTOA LAKE TOUR (3900 M)

Travel via Panamericana South. Hike to the Toachi River Canyon viewpoint and descent to the shore of the turquoise lagoon in a collapsed volcano crater.

CUICOCHA LAKE (3068 M) - OTAVALO

Visit to the sacred lake at the foot of Cotacachi volcano. Hike along the viewpoints to observe its internal islets. Stop in Otavalo.

Exploration of the three high-altitude lakes (Caricocha, Huarmicocha, Yanacocha). Outdoor picnic and active acclimatization hike.
